Customer Full Name Uniqueness
We’ve updated how customer and location names are validated in Smart Service Cloud.
Previously, the Full Name field was required to be unique across all customer and location records. With this update:
● Customer full names must now only be unique among customer records.
● Location names only need to be unique within their associated customer record.
● SSMover now uses the location’s Name field instead of the Full Name field when converting locations from Smart Service Desktop (SSD) to Smart Service Cloud (SSC).
This change provides greater flexibility when managing customers with similar or shared location names.
